Your Tongue Is Either Building Your Future or Burying It
Have you ever noticed how quick we are to say, "If it were that easy, everybody would do it"? That one line has shut down more blessings, more businesses, more bold moves than we want to admit.
Let me be clear: most people won’t do it.
Not because it’s impossible. Not because the path isn't available. But because somewhere deep down, we've decided that ease must mean it's not real. That if it doesn't come with a breakdown and a breakthrough, it isn't valid.
And don’t get me wrong, I'm not selling struggle. I'm just telling you the truth: Your belief system will always beat your strategy.
You can have all the tools, the timelines, the templates. But if the words coming out of your mouth are dipped in doubt? Your results will be too.
And some of you are doing both. You're out here speaking life and death over your vision. You’re saying you believe in your dream, but you're also telling anyone who'll listen how hard it's been, how long it's taking, and how maybe this just isn’t for you.
That’s not manifestation. That’s mental sabotage dressed up like humility.
Let me bring it closer: You get excited. You start writing it down. You speak it aloud. You might even take a couple steps. But the minute it doesn’t look like what you imagined? The minute the likes don’t match the labor? You spiral.
Or worse, you share it with people who say they love you, but only know how to mirror their fear. And now you’re carrying their limitations like they’re facts.
Can we stop doing that?
Can we stop letting timelines punk us out of transformation? Can we stop letting the peanut gallery kill our progress before it even gets good?
Listen. Your words matter.
The conversations you have with yourself when nobody’s watching? They matter. The casual shade you throw on your own potential? That matters.
Your tongue is sacred. It’s a builder. Or it’s a bulldozer. And every day, you get to decide.
So the next time you catch yourself downplaying the vision or over-explaining why it's not here yet, I want you to pause and ask:
Am I building right now? Or am I burying?
Because your brand, your business, your legacy, they’re all listening.
Speak wisely.
You don’t need a miracle. You need consistency. You need belief. You need better conversations with yourself.
And maybe a little less sharing with people who haven’t earned access to your dreams.
Let that be the shift.
You ready? Let’s move.
